In collaboration with Ajilal, I documented the Screwpine craft of Jawahar Centre Thalayolaparambu, initiated by two visionary women empowering local women. Situated in an area grappling with high alcoholism rates, our project aimed to uplift the community. I designed a range of products to enhance the earning potential of women artisans. We captured the resilience and creativity that transforms traditional crafts into avenues of empowerment and economic stability for the women of Thalayolaparambu.
