About

I am a designer, engineer and material researcher interested in how materials, machines and traditional knowledge can shape more regenerative ways of making. My practice moves between biomaterials, textiles, digital fabrication and increasingly electronics, tools and machine-making, often beginning with a material, community or environmental question and developing through hands-on experimentation. Before moving fully into design and research, I spent almost a decade working on the editorial side of magazines, including helping build and run publications—an experience that continues to influence how I research, document and tell stories. Alongside my design practice, I have organised design events and collaborative initiatives, worked closely with handloom and craft communities, and co-founded Make for Animals, while years of hands-on animal welfare and rescue work continue to shape my interest in designing beyond purely human needs.
